This blog is about Oil Painting. My name is Jerry Inman. I am also known as J. Inman for the signature on my paintings. My inspiration comes from the landscape of Montana and the West. I am particularly interested in conveying the feeling of light and atmosphere in my oil paintings. People often have the sense that they have "been there" when viewing my work. Often the subjects are simple slice of life sections of landscape, while others show vast panoramas.
